O apóstolo nos alerta sobre os profetas da mentira e sobre o Anticristo que [segundo ele] ja se encontra entre nós. Naquele tempo em que escreveu essa carta ja atentava para o perigo das inumeras mentiras que chegavam ao ouvido do povo. Imagina nos tempos atuais com a facilidade dos meios de comunicação.
É fato que todos os dias somos bombardeados por ideologias e crenças diversas, que querem nos convencer das mais diversas coisas. Pela internet, tv e até mesmo pelo “boca-a-boca” chega anós desde simpatias com folha de louro que atrai dinheiro até propostas de melhorias e planejamento familiar para justificar o aborto.
E o mais interessante, é que nos é apresentado como coisas boas, práticas “do bem”, tudo misturado em uma batida sincrética de crenças que nos leva a achar que tudo é correto. Lembrando nos do que diz João, “… examinai os espÃritos…”. Lembramos também de que os evangelhos nos mostram nas tentações a Cristo, o inimigo distorcendo a Palavra a seu próprio favor e contra nosso Senhor. Ou seja, na campanha mais inocente e cheia de boas intenções que nos aparece, pode estar o merchandising do anticristo. Afinal, uma sociedade que justifica aborto “pelo bem”, justifica tudo.
O amor de Deus, se manifestou da seguinte forma: Deus enviou seu Único filho para vivermos por meio dele. Jesus veio ao mundo para nos dar a verdadeira vida através do seu sacrificio eterno na cruz. Se fosse para darmos crédito a qualquer ideologia, a qualquer macumbinha ou crença polÃtica que nos aparece, não seria necessária a vinda de Cristo. Se ele veio, é porque você precisa de um vida nova, eu preciso de uma vida nova. A cruz é a ponte que nos tira da lama. A cruz nos limpa tanto da lama que nos mantém rastejando como porcos na vida mundana, como da lama que nos impede de ver o mal acontcendo diante os nossos olhos e que nós não percebemos.
