Umas das histórias bÃblicas mais famosas é o relato sobre Davi, presente nos livros I e II de Samuel. Davi era um simples tocador de lira, o mais novo entre uma humilde e extensa famÃlia. O rei, de Israel à época, Saul, se aprefeiçoou- se a ele e o fez seu escudeiro.
Num determinado momento, o exército israelita se encontra em batalha com o exército filisteu. Exército esse, que possuia o temido gigante Golias, que nenhum israelita se dispunha a enfrentar. Davi sem muitas alternativas, munido de uma funda e algumas pedras derrota o gigante acertando-lhe a testa. Então tornou-se chefe do exército de Israel. E mais tarde depois de uma longa trajetória (mais detalhes nos livros de Samuel), com a morte de Saul, Davi passou a governar a tribo de Judá. Com a morte de Isboset, filho de Saul, passa a governar toda Israel.
Pensando sobre essa e outras histórias bÃblicas, em que encontramos pessoas vitórias nas circunstancias de suas vidas, descobrimos no capÃtulo quinto da primeira carta de São João, o segredo dessas vitórias:
“Pois nisto consiste o amor de Deus: em guardar os seus mandamentos. E seus mandamentos não são um peso, já que tudo o que nasceu de Deus é vencedor do mundo. E a nossa vitória que venceu o mundo é a nossa fé”. (1 Jo 5, 3-4) (Principio Eterno)
Somos vencedores deste mundo, porque a nossa vitória é a nossa fé. O poder da nossa oração é que transforma a circuntâncias da nossa vida. Muda rumos muda realidades. Quantos vÃcios, quantas depressões, traumas caem por terra pela poder da oração. Santo Agostinho, grande doutor da Igreja, se converteu pelo poder da oração de sua mãe, Santa Mônica. E sobre isso, 1 Jo 5 também nos fala:
” E está é a confiança que temos diante dele: se lhe pedirmos alguma coisa conforme a sua vontade, ele nos ouve.” (1 Jo 5, 14) ( Promessa)
Percebe, os relatos vitoriosos da BÃblia não são por acaso. São devido a oração incessante que Deus ouve conforme sua vontade. Esse é o segredo da vitória, que é a nossa fé.
Os mandamentos de Deus, não são um peso para sua vida. Olhe a história de Davi e veja se foram um peso. Olhe a história de Maria, o “Eis aqui a serva do Senhor”, dito por ela não foi um peso, pelo contrário, um motivo de vitória.
Que nós possamos no dia de hoje dizer “Eis o (a) Servo (a) do Senhor”, que nós possamos trazer pra nossa vidas os mandamentos do nosso mestre, trazer pra nossa vida a nossa vitória. A carta aos CorÃntios nos diz que a Cruz é uma loucura para o mundo. Ou seja, os mandamentos do Senhor parecem um fardo para os que estão no mundo. Para os que buscam falsas liberdades e acabam cada vez mais se enroscando na teia de aranha do inimigo. Se você é um desses que vê loucura na Cruz, reflita um pouco: qual liberdade você quer pra sua vida? Qual vitória você quer para sua vida?
