Seguindo o método de estudo bÃblico do mons. Jonas Abib, depois da primeira carta de São João, refletiremos sobre o evangelho de São João. O evangelho de João é o mais teológico de todos, foi o último a ser escrito e foi escrito numa época tumultuada, onde as heresias e apostasias começavam a açolar as comunidades cristãs.
O primeiro capÃtulo do evangelho de São João, “é dividido” em quatro partes: Prólogo (introdução), testemunho de São João Batista, Cordeiro de Deus e Primeiros discÃpulos.
O capÃtulo, no seu prólogo nos fala sobre o Verbo, que é Jesus Cristo. O Verbo que se encarnou, a Palavra de Deus Pai que ganha vida e vem ao nosso meio.
“No inÃcio era o verbo, e o verbo estava voltado para Deus, e o Verbo era Deus. Ele estava no inÃcio, voltado para Deus. Tudo foi feito por meio dele; e sem ele nada foi feito. Nele estava a vida, e a vida era a luz dos homens, e a luz brilha nas trevas, e as trevas não a compreendeream.” (Jo 1, 1-5) (PrincÃpio Eterno)
O apóstolo numa linguagem poética conta a trajétoria de Nosso Senhor que veio ao mundo como a luz para iluminar a nossa vida e no entanto nós o rejeitamos. Permanecemos com nossos olhos tapados na escuridão preferindo a nossa vidinha mesquinha de sempre à luz da vitória.
“O Verbo era a verdadeira luz que, vindo ao mundo, ilumina todo homem”     ( Jo 1, 9) (PrincÃpio Eterno)
São João Batista nos dá testemuno deste verbo, ele mesmo afirma que depois dele virá um que é maior que ele porque existia antes dele. E enquanto João batiza com água, o Cristo batiza com o EspÃrito Pentecostal e consolador para uma vida nova e verdadeiramente restaurada.
E eis que João Batista estando no seu lugar de sempre com dois discipulos, aparece o Verbo. Avistando-o, enradiado João exclama “Eis o Cordeiro de Deus”, fazendo com que os discipulos seguissem Jesus. Um dos dois era André, irmão de Simão Pedro, que também o convidou a seguir o mestre. No dia seguinte, Jesus também convida Felipe: ” Vem e segue-me”.
Felipe por sua vez convida Natanael, que duvida do poder do Messias por ser de Nazaré. Jesus , depois de um dialogo com Natanael, profetiza:
“Em verdade, em verdade, eu vos digo, vereis o céu aberto e os anjos de Deus subindo e descendo sobre o Filho do Homem” (Jo 1, 51)
O verbo se encarnou e veio ser a luz do mundo, mas os que eram do mundo não o compreenderam. Jesus EucarÃstico te chama a não ser criatura deste mundo. Chama-te a compreender o seu projeto. Chama-te a fazer parte do projeto de redenção dos homens e junto com ele também ser luz do mundo.
Como São João Batista podemos exclamar “Eis o cordeiro de Deus”, eis o sacrifico do Deus Vivo para a nossa vida eterna. E como André, Pedro, felipe, Natanael e os outros possamos responder ao chamado “Vem e segue-me”. Possamos seguir a Luz, seguir o verbo. Sem medo, sem receios, sem dúvidas. Deixando coisas para trás, uma vida para trás, mas em busca de algo maior, de algo grandioso e exuberante prometido para nós. É Nosso direito e não podemos desperdiçar.
