Na nossa vida, muitas vezes paramos, sentamos e ficamos pensando. Ah, se eu tivesse chance de começar de novo! Faria tudo diferente! Eu iria fazer isso, largar de fazer aquilo. Eu nunca iria ter experimentado meu primeiro cigarro, iria ter pedido perdão enquanto era tempo à quele meu irmão que ja se foi, teria aproveitado mais minha juventude, teria preservado mais minha sexualidade, teria me valorisado mais como templo do EspÃrito, entre tantas outras coisas que nos passam pela cabeça.
Esse terceiro capÃtulo do evangelho de São João nos apresenta essa temática. O texto começa com Nicodemos exaltando o nome de Cristo:
“Rabi, sabemos que tu és um mestre que vem da parte de Deus, pois ninguém pode realizar os sinais que tu fazes, se Deus não estiver com ele”. (Jo 3, 2b) (Principio Eterno)
Em seguida a esta afirmação, Nosso Senhor, profetiza sobre o novo nascimento:
“Jesus lhe respondeu: ‘Em verdade, em verdade eu te digo: a menos que nasça de novo, ninguém pode ver o Reino de Deus’”. (Jo 3, 3) (Principio Eterno)
Nicodemos fica indignado e começa a questionar, como pode um homem nascer de novo, ele não pode voltar ao seio de sua mãe depois de velho. Da mesma maneira, nós fazemos os questionamentos do inicio do nosso texto, como podemos fazer diferente as coisas, como podemos começar de novo.
E a lógica do Senhor novamente nos surpreende, dizendo que SIM, VOCÊ PODE NASCER DE NOVO, VOCÊ PODE SER UM HOMEM NOVO. Jesus nos da oportuniddae de fazer da vida uma nova folha de caderno, totalmente em branco para escrevermos outra história. Como na música “O Caderno”, do Pe. Fábio de Melo, Deus nos dá essa oportunidade do novo começo:
“Caderno é uma metáfora da vida, quando erros cometidos eram demais eu me recordo que nossa professora nos sugeria que a gente virasse a pagina
Era um jeito interessante de descobrir a graça que há nos recomeços
Ao virar a pagina os erros cometidos deixavam de nos incomodar e a partir deles a gente seguia um pouco mais crescido” (Pe. Fábio de Melo)
Cristo, ainda diz que o novo nascimento, é uma condição para se conhecer o Reino de Deus. Quem não nascer da água e do EspÃrito não conhcerá o Reino de Deus. E a maior vontade do nosso Pai, é que possamos conhecer o seu Reino, é o que nos diz esse próprio capÃtulo:
“Deus, com efeito, amou tanto o mundo que deu o seu Filho, o seu único, para que todo que nele crê não pereça mas tenha a vida eterna”. (Jo 3, 16) (Promessa)
Deus nos quer homens novos, quer que sejamos “Eu 2.0″, tudo novo, tudo renovado dos pés à cabeça. Velhos erros caem por terra e ficam enterrados, a nova existência é que importa. Essa é a nossa vida que brota da Cruz de Nosso Senhor.
“E assim como Moisés levantou a serpente no deserto, é preciso que o Filho do Homem seja levantado, a fim de que todo aquele que crê tenha nele a vidsa eterna”. (Jo 2, 14-15) (Promessa)
Peça agora, as bençãos do EspÃrito Santo. É ele nos que nos faz sermos diferentes, sermos novos e preparados para o Reino. Peça o batismo no EspÃrito Santo. Queremos entrar novamente no seio de nossas mães e sairmos “em branco” para uma página nova de vida, porque queremos experimentar o Amor de Deus. Sabemos que Jesus nos ama infinitamente, mas queremos provar esse amor na plenitude. Queremos ser servos fiéis ao Senhor.
“Importa que ele cresça e que eu diminua.” (Jo 3, 30)
